Growing family and graduate school are putting a temporary halt to my brewing days - at least at my house. Selling my all grain setup. I'd prefer not to ship, but if you're willing to pay all shipping costs, I might. Kegs have new lids/seals. I also have a 2 tap keezer that's big...

I let it sit for a few days and still a no-go. Decided to cut my losses and just get a new freezer. All I had in it was the truck rental to pick it up so I'm not inclined to fight with it anymore - I've got beer to drink.

I should clarify. I let it sit for about 4 days after I got it before plugging it in. It ran for about a week and stayed around 10 degrees. It was 10 degrees when I moved it, but after I plugged it back in, it started to get warmer. I did not let it sit after moving it the 3 feet...

I'm not well versed in refrigeration terms, so hopefully this makes sense. A few weeks ago I got a 8.8 CF Kenmore freezer (253.16922103) from craigslist. The lady said it didn't get cold, so I got it for free. I took it home, plugged it in and it cooled to about 10 degrees Fahrenheit...

When I get around to building out my keezer I will most like integrate the controller into the woodwork, but I'll keep it external for simplicity. Since my controller has a thermistor cable, and there's no need to deal with condensation if it's left outside.

I prefer going with stuff I have been able to research, but these controllers look similar to the ones I have found on dx.com for a little less. Of course dx.com usually ships from China and you have to wait many weeks for your parts. http://dx.com/s/temperature+controller

Last week I picked up 10 pin lock kegs from the HBT marketplace for $10 each. This week I picked up a 'broken', 8.8 CF Kenmore chest freezer for free. I was told it did not work well, despite being brand new. I plugged it in and adjusted the dial, and it chilled to 10 degrees. Just shaved...
