Strange sight glass size gasket replacement

Greetings! I’m getting back into the hobby after 4.5 years due to a move which took away my brewing space. As such, I purchased a load of equipment from a former home brewer. I’m cleaning everything metal and replacing everything non-metal. One thing included was a 1.5” TC sight glass…but the...

    Brew Panel Question

I've finally pulled the trigger and decided to get into Electric Brewing. We have relocated so I haven't brewed in quite a while, as space has been limited. Now that I'm close to finishing a shop/brewery, I decided to ease into the electric brewing world. I have a 30 A 125v NEMA-L30R...

I'm brewing a cream ale. After over a full calendar year of doing graduate work and other stuff, I've forced myself to make time for my two hobbies: homebrewing and backpacking. Last week I brewed a one hop IPA.

Funny things you've overheard about beer

It's called Elevenses. And it's delicious. Wait...you said Arnold Palmer. I know he's known to drink a lot, but I didn't realize he fancied himself a Brewer.

Funny things you've overheard about beer

I tell you, my favorite Bourbon and Coke is Captain Morgan and ginger ale.

Funny things you've overheard about beer

I'm talking about the use of a word as a generic term when it isn't a generic term.

Funny things you've overheard about beer

With all the anti Coke as a generic term folks here, I can't believe more people didn't jump on the guy in the "What are you drinking now?" thread. He said he was drinking an apfelwein and cranberry juice mimosa.

Funny things you've overheard about beer

Evidently, the scientists on the show did...it being a fictional show and all.

    What are you drinking now?

So in other words...not a mimosa at all?
