These are great for camping. Holds good temp for a couple days easily. I did cut the hinges off of mine. (Shaved the bumps off that hold the hinge together.)

I ended up using the D-90 syrup. It made a really nice beer. Next time, I think I'll go either with the 180 or with straight sugar. This is a really solid recipe. Can't really go wrong with the sugar choice.

Drinking a really good saison I brewed with all Sorachi Ace and Belle Saison yeast. I think they are perfect for this style, but want to try them in an APA. For everyone that wants rid of them, I'll send you my address.

Can't say enough good things about Farmhouse. The quality of the hops (and grains, for that matter) is always top notch. Great service too. They have become my go-to for almost everything since I moved to the middle of nowhere.

Entering this one for the first time this year. I've heard only great things about this comp, so hopefully my beers show well. Smoked Porter and a Dark American Lager going in.

As a fellow Bears fan in WI, I feel your pain, brother. The Bears have put quite a dent in my kegs this season. Thank God for soccer, or I'd have nothing to look forward to, sports-wise. At least the Packer fans are civil about the whole thing, right? Hahaha... right.

Brewing this (or a version of it anyway...) for the final round of a knockout competition. I ordered the D-90, but really wavered back and forth between that and the D-180. Candi Syrup. Anyone have pics and some notes on either version? I know multiple people have used each, but there really...
