I do a very simalat thing when I make a light lager you have to be very carful if bottle conditioning though makes bottle bombs more of a problem

They probably use yeast nutrients to get the gravity very low like .995 or so gives the beer a very crisp taste and gets the carbs and calories down

How does this recipe sound 5Lbs 2 row 2.5 lbs rice 1 lbs grits .5 Oz saaz at 60 .5 Oz saaz at 30 Saf-Lager 23 @55 deg. For 2 Weeks Lager at 40 deg for 4 weeks

Pulled the trigger I ordered a complet conversion setup from beverage elements last night

Well three months later in pulled a couple of bottles tastes a lot better still a little yeasty

Tasted sample and it was really good its a heavily hoped American amber

Just put my first all grain in the bottle hoping for the best

Just want to say how great the guys there are and that there prices are almost unbeatable nice to have a great brew shop so close to home

Would the concern be with the pump not lasting or the chance of getting off flavors from the hot plastic
