Haven't brewed in forever and since I am home for a while I had a kit I havent brewed yet so I brewed it last week. I have acquired a 2.5g keg and I brewed the 5g kit. My question is on how to split it between the keg and bottles. do I use the priming sugar as I would if I were to bottle all of...
Update. Been a couple weeks since i posted. Beer now has some carb but still not all the way there. I couldnt move it to a warmer spot without risking constant changing temps. Gonna give it another week ir so. Thanks for the replies
Brewers best scottish ale. OG was 1.033-034. Fermentation did appear a bit weak. Didnt see any more bubbling after 4 days. I let it sit in primary for 2 days short of 3 weeks before bottling. Kit came with bag of dextrose. Mixed 3oz in boiling water per instructions. Do not know/remember what...

Thanks for all the tips i have gotten here. This is an imperial blond kit from brewers best. Couple more kirs then most liking goin to expand to maybe all grain? This one even kinda has a sam type taste.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I guess in my mind being a noob i expected a little lighter color. I am planning leaving it the primary for a minumum of 3 weeks then bottle. As of this morning i am seing some sign of fermentation. Thanks again for the help
Making my second batch, an imperial blonde ale. Supposed to be a deep gold color. Doesnt quite look right to me. Anyone brewed this before? Does it look right? Followed directions pretty well. Sanitation was good. Not worried much about that.
Thanks
I got the same thing for Christmas. Brewers best 5 gal and irish stout. I bottled 8 days ago. the waiting is painful. Trying to hold off for the full 3 weeks before I try one but not sure I have the discipline.
