No IPA made the list! I was hoping I would find my next brew to do in this post. Anybody want to give me some tried and tested recipes they love? I generally like my IPAs around 6% with 80 IBU.
The APA looks good....
With coopers drops in regular 12 oz bottles what do the volumes work out to. Must have been good for you. I'm wondering if the co2 would pop the bottles. I read wheat beers usually has heavier bottles to allow more carbonation

I used BeerSmith for about 2 months until I saw BrewersFriend. Within 2 brews I became a paying member and downloaded the apps for my phone. It is an amazing program and incredibly user-friendly. Even the free account is worthwhile but the premium account is worth every penny. I am...
Looking for some feedback on a recipe I tweaked. Sort of a mix of the Pizza Boy Dark and the Schwarzbier recipe in Jamil's book.
May have trouble with mash-out if not draining. Would need larger mash tun. Is mash-out necessary...

Update: not going to do the additions. Talked to the guy at LHBS (Neil) and he gave some solid advice. I have a balanced APA or IPA right now. If I add sugar I will have something with enough alcohol but not enough IBU.
Lesson: Do not count on brewer's friend for late kettle additions when...

Actually I bet...
