I am in the middle of my brew day and realized that my glass thermometer broke and there is some glass in the mash. What would you guys do?
Proceed as normal?
Toss the batch?

I have entered all the information from the Stone IPA clone from the December BYO and I am getting a Final Gravity of 1024 when the recipe calls for 1012. There is probably something simple I am doing wrong but I can't see it. Anyone have any suggestions? I am using Wyeast 1968.

Maus by Art Spiegelman. The first graphic novel I have ever read. A story of the Holocaust using mice for the Jews, cats for the Nazis, dogs for the GIs. Amazing, actually won a Pulitzer back when.
I was lucky enough to get an older Sanke with a spigot attached but the spigot is really old and gnarly looking and it leaks a lot and I would like to replace it. I have tried unscrewing the bastard but to no avail. Would a dremel be my best bet to get this thing off and any tips?
