I have recently put a 5 gal batch into my secondary fermenter and will let it sit for about two weeks. I am just wondering about priming; I am thinking about using some of the priming fizz tabs instead of mixing a priming solution. What do you recommend and some experiences with using both...
I it better to use the priming sugar that was provided or plain old table sugar? Also is it appropriate to add honey to the priming mixture.
Thanks
Tom
I am about to brew some caribou slobber from northern brewing. I am thinking about adding honey at high krausen.. Just wondering if anyone had experience adding honey to a 5 gal batch, when they added it, and how it turned out. I appreciate the time.
I am about to brew a 5 gal batch of caribou slobber, wonder if anyone added honey to this brew; I'm debating on adding a lb of honey at high krausen. Any suggestions.
