This is not a light red as far as ABV, but I feel it is flavorful & hoppy without being too bitter. If you enjoy the real Tocobaga Red, you should enjoy this one.
I just brewed this last Friday 01/24/14 and I cold crashed 1 week later in the morning, racked about 10 hours later into keg and force carbed all night, it was ready the next day around 4pm. 8 days from grain to glass. I pitched at 75 and let it fall during lag time to 67, then after 4 days...
Same recipe but with slight modifications. Scaled for 10 gallons, 65% efficiency..added the use of Reverse Osmosis water with salt additions and Acidulated malt for proper PH. Took out Amarillo dry hop as it isn't used by Green Flash.

I did. I thought the 152 was a little less sweet and was really what I was aiming for. I changed the recipe to mash at 152 (medium body, batch sparge in beersmith). Both are good beers though...you will enjoy the beer regardless I think,
