So brewed a hefe 2.5 weeks ago. Here is set up. I hit all my numbers. Mash temp was 152 I hung around 151-152 for the entire mash. Mashed out and hit OG on the nose after fly sparge and boil. Used a 1liter starter decanted and pitched slurry. Fermenters at 64* and it finished in about 6 days...
Ok so been working on this the past couple of days. I think I messed up as far as the way I framed it. As you can see its all 2x4s. I think I'm going to have to add 2x4s along the base in order to form a good seal with the insulation and have a way to hang my door. I want to use the fridge door...
I use my wet vac and clean mine out every couple of weeks. I have damp rid in it and it still builds up puddles in the floor.

Wasn't sure on the pumpkin. I figured it would add a little bit along with the brown sugar, but wasn't sure on how to factor it in.

I'm picking up 3 lb of rahr 6 row and 0.5lb of caramel 40L to steep along with the pumpkin. Then use on of the extract kits. But add in the additional 3.3lb extract to match as close as I can to the smashing pumpkin ale.

Well the hopped extract is what comes with the two amber ale kits they accidentally sent me. So I planned on using em. It is the muntons hopped amber extract. Just want to use the kits up and move on to bigger and better things.
