Oops! Racked on top of Starsan. How bad will it be??

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I'm just getting settled from moving. It's hard for me to say how it turned out as I never actually brewed that cerveza since. I can tell you that I did drink it all and it wasn't off-tasting enough for me to stop drinking it. It was a light beer to begin...

    CO2 in Edmonton, AB

I get my CO2 at OxyPro because it's close to where I live. It's on 86th street and 63rd ave. I think there's one on the north side as well. As for price, I originally paid $130 +tax for a full 5lb tank as I didn't already have one and was worried about ordering one with my kit in case it...

    New Jester Clone Keezer

Looks very nice! Congrats. Can't wait til I can build one of these babies. Have a small 2 tap keezer and 5 kegs sitting empty. Got a build thread on this? Really like the tile you used and the drip tray with the trim around it looks great. I'm jealous. Thanks for the pics!

    Terrible night

This also happened to me but not on the same scale. I probably only racked on top of at most a quart of star san solution. I still drank it and it tasted fine. It was a new beer for me though so I didn't have a comparison to see how it changed the profile at all. Not sure how I'd feel about a...

    Kegging Question

I do something similar but I put CO2 in it in order to push out my sanitizer. I'm sanitizing my keg anyways so why not sanitize my beer line! So I hook up the CO2 and run the sanitizer through the line. Then everything is sanitized and it's all ready with CO2 in it when I'm ready to rack.

    Use Damprid!

Hmm, might have to look into this. I've had my keezer in operation for about 7 months and haven't had a mold issue yet. But I do notice when I look in amongst the kegs I see there is some small puddles starting to form in the corners. Where did you pick this up? Walmart, home depot?

    Clean your kegs!

Same here. It takes all of 5 minutes to break it down and fill it with hot water and oxiclean. Rinse thoroughly the next day and that's it! Actually, the next day I also fill the clean keg with a little bit of hot water and oxiclean and run that throught the beer line I was using. Then when...

    Kegconnection.com - December Specials!

Joshua, just want to give you a heads up. I realize you guys are really busy but it's becoming so hard to get anything ordered with you guys if you have to call. I've made a couple of purchases from Canada and have been really happy with the products but it's looking like I'll be going somewhere...

    Kegconnection.com - December Specials!

Just wondering if the shipping calculator is fixed with regards to shipping to Canada? I missed out on the black friday deals that went quick because the shipping kept coming up at $200 and it was too late to call the office. Also, are you still offering half price shipping to Canada? Thanks.

    Kegconnection.com - Black Friday AD!

Also just had this issue, had the cart up to $104. 1 keg, 3 way distributor, 2 disconnects, 2 swivel nuts, 10 feet of gas hose and 10 clamps. Put in the half price shipping code and shipping total was $100. Wow! Bought a whole 2 keg setup last year during this sale and shipping was $60. By my...

    bars and dogs

Well, I learned something new! I would think that if an owner did discriminate against some dogs though, there might be some pretty upset dog owners regardless if it's okay or not. But either way. I still don't want a dog in my bar. Or kids for that matter. :cross:

    bars and dogs

Problem is, you can't have your cake and eat it too. So I'd say no to dogs in a bar. If a bar says they allow dogs they'll have to allow all dogs or none at all. That would be like a restaurant saying kids are allowed but if they start crying they'll have to leave.

About to make a Keg Connection purchase ...

I second the dual body regulator. Wish I would have got one when I purchased my setup. And I will recommend longer beer lines too. My kit from keg connection came with 5 foot lines and I wish I had at least 8. Not a huge deal replacing them but just one more thing I should have done at the start.

    How many kegs...

Given your setup I would certainly go with 2 kegs. If you can afford it, I don't think you will regret spending the extra money. But I know that myself, if I had room, I would very quickly regret not filling up that space with that second keg. I built a keezer and put in two taps as it was only...
