    Brewie

Brewie is saying that the next update email with more sketchy tentative delivery dates is coming tomorrow. Not going to argue about the competence (to say communication and organization of all parts of this operation could be clearer is just a wee redundant at this point). On our discussion...

Beerrending? Someone asked about an update on the Beerender a while back - look, now it's bronze-ish! Still wondering if anyone has tried it... Or if, like Brewie, is in a slow holding pattern of missed target dates.

Any updates on your overdue tracking ID? Was that your comment on FB? "How to surprise a #Brewie customer? Real Delivery." Too funny when they post it as a gift idea but new orders wouldn't be received until late Feb (per their own answers) at the soonest... and that's a big maybe. On a...

Thanks for sharing - it helps confirm that they would produce all of the Brewies for one region (plug and voltage) as a time. Makes more sense to do that and make them in batches before retooling over to different sets of components for each region, even if it doesn't always go in order 'order'...

    PicoBrew Zymatic

@Waruaki: In case you happen to be traveling down to NorCal over the holiday, there is one listed on Craigslist in Santa Cruz for $1200, and per the listing it was completely refurbished by Picobrew already (guess that could be a + or a -, depending on how you look at it...). Saw you were in...

Another snippet from email regarding shipping/timing - still 'waiting for tracking IDs' currently though. From Brewie: "First of all a few basic information about the shipping process: - this year we will deliver machines from the first batch but we already have the second batch planned for...

New email sent from Brewie today - won't repost it here due to length - thought the item most worth sharing here is the User Guide / Quick Start Guide was linked in the email. Includes more details then previously shared, but does require a download of a PDF (Just FYI).

Latest time estimate from Brewie within a post on the big FB (& a funny exchange from Drew). No answer on Q2 yet, but it is after hours in Budapest right now. -------- Brewie Fact #13: Beer may be good for your bones. -------- Drew McIntosh I'm getting osteoporosis over here. When are these...

Thank you for the response. Another question I had was regarding the shipping/packaging. When the Picobrew Zymatic launched, they had many units that were damaged during shipping that wound up having to be returned & eventually replaced. We saw the one picture with two Brewie team members...

Thanks for the first hand thoughts... combined with the water cooling wort chiller that Team Brewie mentioned (vs the original air cooling that was mentioned previously - blowing the heat off 20l of boiling wort right thru the electronics cavity underneath after boiling for an hour was a big...

    Brewie

Here's one of my questions for Brewie Team - how is Brewie going to manage heat within the unit? Heat is a well known enemy of electronics and can take a toll on longevity, especially in a compact space. How will Brewie keep it's circuit boards and other sensitive parts cool while having one or...
