And check your gravity. If its changing its all good... And to second Unibrows comment, I ferment in buckets and haven't had a good bubbling airlock in a year. But gravity keeps changing and beer keeps a-making...

Tall Paul's? Do tell. I'm in Trenton, also in the Bronson/Cland area. I use Hoggetown and have had problems in the past, that were rectified by getting in touch with Barron. So I give him my business when I can. However, we need a local homebrew shop out here in hillbillyville...

    Kegging questions???

Though I only run 2 at a time, I for sure prefer a regulator on each keg. Since I typically run 2 different types of beer at a time, I can keep both flowing at the right pressure... I've never paid for new kegs. Always purchased used and replaced the o-rings when they arrive. Clean em and load...

First timer dident read the intructions

If you got the wort and the yeast together, below ~80 degrees, in whatever container, make sure its covered and has an airlock, and it'll all be good. Primary/secondary is kinda relative. Good to do, not bad to not do. Watch for activity, indicating the yeast is eating and making alcohol, and...

    First AND second big blunder

Glad you're no longer in-country and made it home safely. Your description leaves me a bit jealous! And though I know beer is real resilient, I've never been able to let one age as long as yours! Cheers! Edit: In re-reading my earlier post, I guess I *have* aged 1 a while. Oh well. All's...

The (minutes) notations are when you add these items. YOu're doing a 60-minute boil, and you use a countdown timer, so 30-min means add things at 30 minutes left during boil. 0 minutes means add at end of boil as you take off heat. I dryhop at secondary, but you can do however you want...

Actually, no. I'll be interested as well in hearing some responses from local folks. I'm out in the country a bit, so don't really know anyone in the GV homebrew scene. Wouldn't mind meeting up some though...

I'm just north of you in Gilchrist county. Hoggetown is a great place to shop. I had a problem there a ways back, and was contacted personally by Barron, the owner, and he explained the reason for my problem, and that the employee responsible was long-since dealt with and fired. After that...

Kegging Red Bull at $0.14 per 12 oz can

Hadn't realized. I just checked the cabinet here at the house, and indeed, each there says Sucralose, Splenda brand at the end of ingredients list. They all also list 'sugar' as the 2nd ingredient... And none of those are diet or sugar-free.
