I just checked and my score was up, I didn't make the miniBOS and I know that I didn't win anything. Also the final round letter was available to download.
So I know that I'm bringing back at thread that had gone dormant.
But I wanted to see if there are any updates on what to study, what to focus on. I'm going through the BJCP study guide and style guidelines. (I've been going over them a bit and would like to pass my exam before having to...
SWMBO has said that I can try out growing hops. I've ordered a golding rhizome from more beer and now its time to make sure I have a large enough pot and some potting soil. Any tips or pointers would be appreciated.
I'm planning on being there, though only for a short while. I have some other family commitments but I wanted to atleast stop by to see if I can help a bit.
Looking at my score sheets the cover sheet has a check box right above Final Assigned Score that says "This beer advanced to a mini-BOS round"
I had to double check cause the first few times that I looked it over I totally missed it and had no clue how other people knew that made it to BOS.
I know its not much help, but they did swap from OPEN to verifying on the site.
