Anybody have a recipe for a Swedish lager along the lines of Nils Oscar God Lager? If not, any Swedish brews in general? I would like to do one for my dad, he's Swedish and loves beer, but his health is going down quickly and I'd like to do this for him while I can. Thanks guys!:mug:

Any tweaks you'd make post-brew?

I live in Michigan and would love to start growing my own hops. Any idea what grows well here? Or does that not really matter? Where can I get hop plants? How much space do I need for say 3 varieties?

Luckily, its just a seasonal job. So I'm in Michigan for summer holiday and will return to Colorado soon.

So can anybody tell me why I can't use apple cider in a graff? Every recipe is telling me to use apple juice. Is this a myth? I would really like to use the apples on my apple tree for this recipe.
