I Have been looking at getting a mini fridge too to use as a kegerator but realized I probably would get more benefit by putting a temperature regulator on it so I could use it for multiple purposes. I figure you can always have a temporary tap setup inside the fridge. kind of like this
Well I e-mailed the manufacturer because after looking at the item description on a couple different sites it sounds like mine was supposed to come with an adjustable regulator and didn't so they e-mailed me back and said they had sent out some units with the wrong regulator so it sounds like...
Sounds like everyone has a control on the regulator or a needle valve. I wonder if I could attach a valve or if I would need to get a new regulator. It would be nice to have a control to adjust the flame.
hi guys! I am new to all grain brewing and I just got the Brewers Best Element burner that is rated at 150,000 btus and claims it can boil 20 gallons of water in under an hour.. well I just tried it this weekend and it took over an hour to boil 4 gallons of water. After much research I’m...
Awesome. Thanks for the advice. I will make sure to do it at flameout. I am going to be making an IPA just haven’t come up with a recipe yet. I will have to see if I can find some partial mash recipes. Any suggestions on partial mash IPAs?
Hello,
I have been searching this forum and googling this question but cannot find an answer so I apologize if this has been answered before. I am wanting to start brewing partial mashes. I have a mash tun but I only am able to brew on my stove top at the moment so I want to try and make ~3...
I could not find the diameter of the Blichmann breweasy lid. I was curious if this would fit ontop of a keggle or if anyone has tried this?

Yeah I will do atleast 5 gal batches or 10 if a friend wants to go in with me. I eventually want to have a 3 keg setup. For now I will use my Gatorade mash tun. And maybe use that pony for a fermenter. My next project will be to find a corny keg to fix up:)
Well I found a full size keg so I will turn that into my BK instead. For the pony keg as a fermenter could I still add a ball valve so I don't have to rack it?or would you recommend getting one of the fermenter conversion kits?
If the pony keg could handle 5 gal batches I would try it. I have heard you might run the risk of boil overs. 5 gal is the most I want to do because I just want to brew a bunch of different beers and 5 gallons takes a while For me to drink on my own. I give a lot of it away to friends and...
Hello. I have searched this forum and have not found many who have made a pony keg brew kettle. I have a 7.75 gal keg I would like to use as a brew kettle and wanted to see if anyone had a picture of theirs so I can get an idea how to build it and where to put the valves etc. I am planning on...
