    Are my keggles ruined?

I still need to make it by to check out your system! I'm T-minus one month from having my student loans paid off, and that's when I promised myself I'd invest in finishing my all grain home-brewery.

    Are my keggles ruined?

Thanks for the tips! I'm on my way to get a flap wheel now! I'm a little OCD myself, but my impatience to get an all-grain system is outweighing everything else at the moment :)

    Are my keggles ruined?

The fittings are all stainless. Good point about using a clean grinding wheel, I'm pretty sure it was new (it's been a couple months). These photos are from 3 different keggles, I am very slowly working toward an all grain system. If it is okay for a boil kettle, does that mean it should also...

    Are my keggles ruined?

My cousin owns a machine shop and said he could plasma cut my kegs and weld my couples on for me. I have a feeling these welds may be "scrappable" and that I may have to start over from the beginning. I've tried grinding these with an angle iron, and using bar keeper's friend paste, but I'm...

    Do Burner Diameters Matter?

Thanks for the info! I bought it last night!

    Do Burner Diameters Matter?

I'm looking to purchase a burner that I can use to make outdoor extract/ mini-mash brews, but I also want to be able to take it off the stand and add it to an all grain systems later. Can someone please tell me if the burner diameter matters? I'm considering this one, but I'm afraid the 4"...

    Welded Ball Valve Components

Thanks Walker. No wonder there isn't a lot of info, it's pretty simple! Regarding the dip tube question, I thought that was some type brass or SS tubing that you attach to the inside of the coupling, it is bent so it can pull water from the very bottom of the pot. I may be mistaken though.

    Welded Ball Valve Components

Can someone please enlighten me as to what components are needed for a welded ball valve/ bulk head assembly? I see lots of info about weldless but nothing for welded. I know I'll need a coupling and a valve, but I don't understand what else is needed. Questions 1) What components are...

    Wichita Rookie

Thanks DakotaSchmidty! Wichita does feel like a small town in a medium sized city's body! Old Town has been picking up a lot lately. They are really trying to develop it. And no bueno on flying out of ICT hung-over, especially when we only have regional jets and puddle jumpers!

    Keggle Accessories

I am still trying to get my head around all the possible accessories you can add to keggles vs what you actually need. Do the accessories differ between the HLT, MLT, and brew pot? So far these are the accessories I know about. Ball Valves (welded coupling or weld-less) Thermometer Sight...

    Aluminum Brewery Stand Feasibility?

Hopefully this isn't a Captain Obvious question... but about how heavy is your stand?

    Aluminum Brewery Stand Feasibility?

I guess if you wanted to get bling factor out of Aluminum you could upgrade to Aluminum-Lithium! It would be extremely light (but a 5x's more expensive than regular aluminum)!

    Aluminum Brewery Stand Feasibility?

Thanks! Looking at the pricing it does seem more expensive than I thought, similar to SS in some cases.

    Aluminum Brewery Stand Feasibility?

I am working on some plans/ doing a lot of research on RIMS/ HERMS systems. It seems most people opt for some type of angle iron, steel tubing, or stainless steel tubing. Is there a reason not many people (if anybody) considers using aluminum tubing? It is light, won't rust (may corrode), can...
