Connecticut corny kegs, ball lock, 2 for sale, $45 each

I'll be honest with you - I don't know the difference. Would it help to show what I'd connected them to in the past? Sorry for the lack of knowledge, you can see why I'm selling them..

Connecticut corny kegs, ball lock, 2 for sale, $45 each

Hi, I have 2 clean corny kegs available. Hardly used, I just don't have time for kegging any longer. Seals and connections are all in good working condition. I'll meet you in the Danbury, CT area. Send me a private message to discuss timing.

    Heatstick Question

Sounds like a 90-degree stick is the way to go. Thanks for the feedback!

    Heatstick Question

Hi! I'm building my first heatstick to experiment with, and was wondering if there was a preference - Right Angle of Straight? Thanks!

Market Research - What do you need, but can't build?

Thank you all again for your suggestions, and sorry I was not able to chime in over the weekend. Lots of great ideas to consider, and I'm personally inclined to solving the small problems, like grain mill motors and heat sticks. It's funny, one of my biggest pet peeves is stirring the grain...

Market Research - What do you need, but can't build?

My intention was to see what people had difficulty fabricating, and to basically see if there was an unmet need in the community that I could try to fill. But, that said, it's always good to hear every idea, even the goofy ones, and especially to hear from naysayers. I would also like...

Market Research - What do you need, but can't build?

DaleHair, I'm totally gonna do that transparent aluminum siphon when I get back from the 24th century. But seriously, I think when we all say we want a stainless steel auto-siphon, we're really asking for a siphon that can handle near-boiling temperature? Grathan, I like the fermenter that...

Market Research - What do you need, but can't build?

I knew I wouldn't be let down when I posted this. Thanks for all of the input so far. I tend to focus on the more mechanical solutions, like the grain mill motors, but I really hate the sanitizing and cleanup part of the process. As for cooling wort efficiently, you can go wrong with the...

Market Research - What do you need, but can't build?

Hi Everyone, I'm taking a little poll... I've been an All-Grain Brewer for about 10 years now, and I've never used the same config twice. Every batch is a Frankenstein of new equipment, impromptu corrections, and good intentions gone haywire. Luckily, no beer has ever been ruined. I'm in...

Homebrew Competition Schedule - New England Area

So, after ten years of brewing, I think I'm ready to see how good my beer actually is, in other people's eyes, or mouths. Does a regional/national calendar exist for homebrew competitons? Also, as a first-timer, does anyone have any advice to offer? When it comes to beer, I'm not a very...

    kegging noob question

Thanks all. I just found the documentation that was sent with all the other kegging equipment. I chilled it overnight, then set it for 30 psi. After about 30 hours the psi on the gauge has dropped to about 24 psi. Is that normal? The instructions I have say 24 hours at 30 psi, then drop it...

    kegging noob question

Hey all, sorry to ask more simpleton questions, but I can't find the answers or a thread that helps! I'm ready to rack to my corny. Do I chill it before gassing it? Is there a relatively standard procedure in a thread somewhere? I don't know a thing about how to adjust the pressure or how...

    First time kegging question

Thanks all for your info. I went with racking to secondary 5 gallon carboys, and then I'll transfer to corny and bottles. My 10 gallon batch only turned out 7.5 gallons, so I'll keg 5 gallons, and bottle the rest.

    First time kegging question

Hey y'all, I'm kegging for the first time, and was wondering if I'm supposed to transfer from primary to secondary and then to cornys, or do I use the corny as a secondary? It's a simple English bitter, so no dry-hopping or anything fancy. Your basic drinker. Thanks all.
