That pot would be a good choice. No matter what you use, your hops will look much better this year than last. Remember to add some extra love to 'em and they will pay you back exponentially!

Have you measured the temps at the base? I would estimate they are quite a bit cooler than the water temp. Heat rises and the kettle sheds about 10% of the heat value, so I am going to proceed with my build. I will post pictures and data as I go.
