Very slow progress. I plan to cover the hole until the house is done, then open it up later.

Thanks guys. This house has had more stress than the last one so far. I am hoping it all came early and the rest is smooth sailing. I was concerned about raccoons getting into it. I am planning so sort of insulated cover that latches to protect from freezing, dirt, and unwanted pests.

I think I have decided on tile. The lower opening is my passthrough for the beverage lines to the outside.

On to a more fun topic. I plan to either use a stainless steel back splash behind the taps or tiles. I am trying to decide. Any opinions? The counters will be stained concrete, the wall will have some tile on it up 6", and the "coffin" will be framed in rough stained cedar.

All, I am starting on a one year keezer build. The reason I say one year is that I am building a house that will have a keezer built into it. I will try to get some pictures this week, but this is the general plan. I have framed a "window" into the wall that separates my outdoor kitchen...

I think I would rather add extra taps and "T" the lines. That would be significantly easier. The keezer is going into my shop next to my fermentation fridge and brew stand. I think I will build in the taps with tiled backsplash and have a cover that locks for security and insulation.

The "permanent" part would be if I poured the concrete countertops with the drip tray installed into it and grouted the koffen in.

The faucets are Perlick 630ss with stainless shanks. The drip tray is stainless. The soda gun is plastic with stainless hose cover. All of the other major parts will be inside. I plan on plugging the taps and the soda gun. I might even cover the entire thing in addition to keep dust...

@bheinecke. I had a little setback..... I sold my house and moved all of my brew stuff into storage. On a brighter side, my new house will be pre-wired and vented for my brewery. I also plan to run my taps through the wall into my planned outdoor kitchen. Do you have a build thread? If...
