Support finally got back to me, and were very apologetic. Apparently, they're working with about 1/2 their regular staff. Already have shipped me a new unit and the return slip for the bad unit. We'll see how this one works out.

Can't seem to get it to work on Excel for Mac. Probably due to Excel for Mac being essentially a stripped down version of MS Excel.
