Support finally got back to me, and were very apologetic. Apparently, they're working with about 1/2 their regular staff. Already have shipped me a new unit and the return slip for the bad unit. We'll see how this one works out.
Yeah, I've been less than impressed with the service and support. You'd think a company would try and actively rectify problems, especially ones like, the unit doesn't work. Been 3 days now since I last heard from support.
