I'm close to City Fire but drive a couple minutes more to Reisinger Oxygen Services in Roseland. I believe they charge $10 for filling a 5lb tank.

My coworker does this but with water instead of glycol. He's able to ferment within a degree but cold crashing isn't possible.

Had some issues with cold crashing. I set the chiller to 28 degrees but the glycol would drop to 20 degrees after the inkbird shut off the chiller. Guessing the recirculation pump you recommended will fix that. Also had an issue with the glycol pump where it needed to be smacked for it to turn...

Do the copper pipes on the AC unit get icy when it's on? I just built one and wondering if I may have a leak.

Perfect, ordered the 308. The pump is a great idea. Did you just mount it on the side of the cooler and have it pump directly into the glycol or did you use a hose to recirculate the glycol?

I bought a 60 quart cooler but seems like overkill. I'll downsize to a smaller one. What temperature controller are you using? Thinking of getting the Inkbird 308.

Contacted Spike about this and they are sending me a new pump. Are you using the carb stone or sight glass? I bought the CF5 to do five gallon batches and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get five gallons with the accessories and after dumping. Should have sized up to the CF10. I was...

Do you have the racking arm? How many gallons of wort did you fill it with? I'm worried about not getting 5 gallons out of the conical after dumping the yeast and trub. On other note, I received the cooling/heating bundle yesterday and the pump was DOA. Anyone else having pump issues?
