I love biab for my 5 gallon batches. Very simple process. I had efficiency issues until I learned the double crush method. My 3600 watt induction burner is beyond awesome. But heh a 3 vessel system with pumps and control panels...well be still my brewing heart...some day!
I do BIAB and it makes fantastic beer and super simple. Make sure to double crush your grains. I use a 3600 watt induction burner with a bayou pot and basket. It's simple and perfect.
I order my grain crushed for BIAB. It has been in the fridge for even as long as a year. No issues. Brews went great. I've done this a couple times now. Maybe lucky so far.
