    Started my first brew a week ago, just moved to secondary... what is next?

    secondary fermentation clarifies the brew. I usually let the fermenters rest 10 days each but checking the SG/FG will give you insight too.

    Infected beer?

    Update*we have since NOT dumped but kegged. We read CO2 could stop the growth and indeed after checking has ceased the bubbles. Next beer that went into that same fermenter got the infection so we bleach bathed it and will probably be moving to glass without drain spouts. Really appreciate the...

    Infected beer?

    Check this out, we are on our 28th batch and this is our second Belgium. We don’t know what it is but it doesn’t smell bad. Looks like from what I read maybe an infection. Anyone ever seen white bubbles that look like another planet?

    So I’ve had questions about my beer and I’ve landed on this site several times. I now wanna join so I can post this insane photo of a some top yeast, looks like an infection from what I read! Gonna be goood
