My first mead is almost done fermenting. It's at 1.001 and i think it should be done in a about a week. I've calculated the gravity to be around 16 pecent abv. And I've let it run dry.

ok so it continued to ferement really slow and ended up with a stuck fermentation after a month and a half. It was well short of finished and wouldnt restart with a yeast starter.

Isn't the #1 recycle symbol the same material as a better bottle?
so yea i gotta water bottle 4 gal. with a recyling symbol on the bottom with a one in it. Am i gonna be ok to age in this thing? Or is ageing a glass only thing?
