Howdy :) Well... my friends and I have finally started making the transition to AG after about 25 extract batches (only 4-5 or them being kits we didn't develop). I've done some research but am still a little confused on the HLT/later tun area. So far we have made a mash tun our of a 10gal...

i dropped mine in my brutal bitter batch... turned out just fine :) there is actually half of one in my warrior/simcoe ale :cross: just leave it in there... it's not going to hurt anything

i peel as much of the label off dry as possible (pretty easy) then i put them in a sink with warm water for about an hour. then scrub them with that copper wool stuff... or the coarse end of a double sided sponge. sometimes glue from certain bottles are hard to get off so i just chunk those lol

hrm... now im thinking half pound of each of the grains dunno lol, this will probably turn out horrible
