It was the red one with the little balls in the bottom. I thought about filtering it, but couldn't get over the chance of someone getting sick. Thought it was beter to just dump it.
Took the fall of from brewing to drink up some of my stash. My first brew back a delicous smelling esb. Everthing went great until it came time to chill the wort. Hooked up the immersion chiller and was chilling my wort and all of the sudden i hear the tinkle of little balls hitting the bottom...
I brewed a blackberry wheat recently and it was a huge hit. I used 3lbs frozen blackberries in a paint strainer bag and crushed them into the wort as it chilled and the berries thawed.
Looking for a maple ale recipe that I can brew. I was thinking about using 6 gallons of maple sap and then adding maple syrup to the wort. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
