    Yielding more wort, less OG

    I have been using various different online water calculators and usually ending up with 11 to 12 gallons wort with my 10 gallon batches. I assume this is why I am ending up with lower than intended original gravity, as there is a higher ratio of water to ingredients. Is there a reason...

    Invincible Flying Aphids!

    Transfer pipe / wort chiller

    I was thinking of getting 1" long pieces of 3/4" copper and bending it into an oval, then soldering in place every couple of feet to center it in the PVC pipe.
