I was at a restaurant the other day looking at the menu. The waitress came over and asked if I knew what I wanted. I said “Yes, I’ll have a quickie”. She got angry and slapped me and stormed off.
Apparently that's not how you pronounce quiche.
Kegged the beer that I made from the wort giveaway 3 weeks ago. Drank a bunch of winter warmer because I need that keg to kick to make room for the new beers.
Had a few too many homebrews during my brew day. Changed the battery in my Tilt and put it into distilled water to calibrate. Forgot to actually calibrate the thing before I dropped it into the fermenter. Showing me a starting gravity of 1.020.
Don't do that.
Not drinking this one now, but I saw this on the shelf (conveniently there was no price tag) and grabbed it. Almost had a heart attack when it rang up for $60 but should be a good beer when I eventually open it.
I've had some bitter orange peel and ginger soaking in brandy for 2 weeks. Dumped that all into the fermenter today before I keg my winter warmer tomorrow.
