    How do I get lighter color with IPA?

    Pilsen Light is much closer in color to 2-Row. I've always found even Golden Light DME to be darker than expected. Couple of questions, how long are you fermenting, are you transferring to secondary, are you bottle conditioning?

    A long as the bottling yeast is not significantly more attenuative than the original you should be fine My other theory is that the yeast is lazy, and even more so under duress (alcohol + pressure), so they should give up after eating only the simplest of sugars
