Victory Brewing just released Yakima Twilight that falls in this category. I had it at a tasting the other week and it was by far the best beer I had that night. I'm not sure if Victory is is Michigan, but keep your eyes open.

Does anyone have a link to current and historical steel prices? Mostly looking for I-beam and tubing. Everything I seem to find is subscription based.
Thanks
I shot a geyser of Cider out of a corny keg in my face and all over the ceiling. I filled the corny so full the cider was up to the "gas in" tube. When I pulled of the CO2 disconnect I was promptly notified by my keg that it has a slow sealing poppet valve. It came out like a laser!
Can anyone tell me the difference betweeen these two kits sold by Northern brewer. One is $60 and the other is $36. Does anyone have any experience with one vs the other.

Thanks AGAIN CvilleKevin!
I have been tasting my first Cider over the last few days and have been extremely impressed with it. 10 gallons with 1 gallon of boiled water and 4# light brown sugar. O.G. 1.071 ( I little higher than I wanted, but heh!) 15 Gallon Sankey with CO2 purged headspace...
You can do it no problem as long as you use two circuits. I use two circuits and two 1500W elements, just to be safe with my house wiring. I do 10 gallon batches with an uninsulated HLT and an insulated cooler mash tun. I set up HERMS system which is working for me...as long as I set it up...
Thanks again Revvy. I posted my results in the original thread.

Thanks again for the idea Revvy. I went a step further and made my own template on our Mac. Instead of using the slits, I bought a 1.5" punch at Michael's for $7. I also bought some 65lb cardstock to print them out on. I'm extremely happy with the results.
I saw a nice template someone on the forum made a few weeks ago and I cannot seem to locate it. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I think it was a word document that had templates for bottle tags.
I've used the search function, but am coming up empty handed.
Thanks
The pigtails are not waterproofed in any manner aside from being "outdoor" extension cords. I have my rig set up such that a drip loop is formed so if any water runs down the HLT it does not have the ability to drip into the connection to the extension cord.
I just have short 12" pigtails coming off each one of my elements. It makes it easy to deal with when I take it off the brewstand for cleaning etc. Then whatever appropriately sized extension cords work. Just one more method, not necessarily the best.
