    Dry hop in a carbed keg help

    hop schedule question

    So I'll move the Simcoe to 60min and split the Amarillo between a whirlpool at 180F and dry hop (2oz each). I'll also add 2 more oz of amarillo late in the boil. Do you have any hope selection in place of amarillo. I've used amarillo and city mostly, but would love to expand. Thanks

    Help solve a potential problem

    So I have a IIPA fermenting in my FC. Its 2 weeks in and I'm gonna dry hop it at 2 1/2 weeks for 5 days then cold crash. I'm also brewing an AIPA this afternoon to keep the pipeline going. Problem is my FC also doubles as my cold crashing vessel. I was hoping my AIPA would be done actively...

    well I brewed it. I was in the middle of the brew process when I started this thread so I added .5lb of sugar with 10 minutes left. My OG was 1.096 so we'll see what happens.

    So i'm about to brew this IPA recipe using 10 lbs Briess Golden light DME. Beer smith has an ABV of 8.4% and I'm using 2 packets of SafeAle 05 because LBHS was out of Notty. Question: Will 2 packets of yeast have the same drying out effect as adding sugar would do? If I add sugar Beersmith says...
