    I did just add some nutrient today. Hopefully that will help. You think adding some water might help? How much would you suggest? It's my first try at making a wine and followed a recipe my fiancee found.

    2 weeks ago I made a basic 1 gallon batch of dandelion wine 1 gallon of water 8 cups of sugar 1 lemon slice I believe it was a qart of danlelions Same day, I pitched a lavelin d47. I got from about 1.147 to about 1.122 2 days ago pitched another d47, no activity or movement at all. Suggestions?

    Apple Ephemere Clone Attempt

    I know this is an older post, but, I figured I'd try just the same. Is this for recipe for 5 gallons of beer? How many gallons of water for mash and pre-boil? Forgive me, I'm new. Unibroue is one of may favorite breweries and I would love to be able to successfully reproduce their offerings...

    I'm in Sudbury and we have 3 or 4 microbreweries. So it isn't too bad for a place with a population of 175,000. I'm not really sure what the home brew scene is like yet, though, as I am very new and have yet to meet other homebrewers. I have made 1 small brew from concentrates, I have 2 ciders...
