    My kettle and fittings arrived in the mail. Now I can build my New Single vessle 16gl Stainless electric biab system. Moving up from a 10gl pot. :ban:

    BIAB methods and efficiency

    Wanting to go with a pump turned into building an electric kettle with pid controller, so as Wilser said, not as simple as just adding a pump, but you could. best choice so far for my brewing and my efficincy(75%+), almost a set it and forget it.

    What I did for beer today

    Just brewed an amber ale in my recently built Ebiab system with pump. Man does this make the brewday a snap. Simple to set up, simple to run, simple to clean. And I got 77% efficiency!

    First time using it, have only heard all the good. So far so good, happily bubbling away at 60 deg. If it's good enough for Rouge it's good enough for me!

    Knocking out a Rouge Dead Guy Ale, BIAB style, as we speak. Hope the recipe is as good as they say. Happy to say I am pitching with Pacman!

    Finished up my two tap conversion on my Nastalgia kegerator. Not sure I dig the larger of the two tap handles yet, yes-no?.     What I did for beer today

    Made an immersion wort chiller, plumbed a separate hookup, under sink and brewed my first BIAB, a chocolate milk stout. I also put a small dent in one of my kegs (Hoptical illusion) while doing this! Ah, life is good.

    Grab a replacement round grill rack at HD, cheap simple and effective to hold the bag while it drains.

    What BIAB Efficiency Do You Get?

    Just finished my first BIAB, calculated out 74% with a squeeze. I am sure I will improve when I dial in my equipment.
