I would like to filter out as much chlorine as I can from my brewing water. Will using a carbon wrap undersink type filter effect any of the other water chemistry attributes? Will it reduce other brewing ions present in my brewing water?

I had a wheat beer that had the same thing on the top. I kegged it like normal and everything seemed alright taste wise. I would suggest bottling or Kegging sooner rather than later if possible. Good luck!

Thanks Blitz, now that you have answered that one, since it is sucking in air is there any chance of infection. My main goal was to eliminate as much yeast as possible so I get clearer beer and I don't lose the first couple beers out of my keg due to trub taste.
What I do is I add my beer to my keg and close it all up then hook up my CO2 lines to the keg. After that is done I turn up my pressure to 25 psi and purge as much of the atmospheric air from the keg as I can,(usually pull the pressure release valve quickly about 8-10 time), this keeps oxygen...
Ok, I watched this video the other day of a guy that had cold crashed his beer in his plastic secondary and the sealed fermenter collapsed. My question is, if I try and cold crash in my glass secondary is there any risk of my glass carboy breaking or cracking?
