I've been making wine for 20 years, mead for 3 years, and beer for 1 year. My system is simple, two industrial Gott coolers fitted with valves, sight glass, stainless false bottom and thermometer well. I fly sparge and boil in a 13 gallon stainless kettle.

As of April 2010, I've got 36 all-grain batches done with the cooler set-up. I have a Stainless Steel Single Tier Brew Stand that I purchased from a guy in Florida. He was getting married and needed the space and money. His loss is definitely my gain. I got a super deal on the stand and he did a truly fine job with the design and fabrication of the stainless steel stand.

I've finished building my stand and only have the wiring left to do.

A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.
