I'm a beginning urban homesteader, and fascinated with pretty much everything done the "old, hard way". The limitation is always time, of course. My fiance and I do permaculture gardening, raise chickens, and planted a micro-orchard about a year and a half ago. After some nice beginner's luck, we've become totally hooked on meadmaking. Would like to try wine and beer, but I think we should stay with one thing at a time for awhile.
