Well I have super old burner that has lived outside and is producing a yellow flame and tons of soot on the bottom of my kettles. It's time to let it go.
I've seen a lot of people talking about different burners and I've narrowed it down to these three:
Bayou SP10 ($50)
Bayou SQ14 ($50)...
Lower o ring was there and didn't need to be replaced, but I applied some keg lube to it and replaced the upper o ring and it is no longer leaking. Thanks guys

Has anyone had issues with their Perlick Perl 525SS leaking out of the top? I tried putting a new o-ring around the little white plastic part as well and it didn't help at all. Has anyone had issues with this? This is when the faucet is closed. Trying to figure out if there is a way to fix...
Thanks for all the advice guys. I think I will try dry hopping in the primary this time, and then rack to keg.
My next question is, what is your opinion on cold crashing? I want this to be a hoppy IPA and I have heard that sometimes cold crashing can suck to the hop resins to the bottom where...
Thanks I will definitely try this. Do you cold crash before racking to the keg? I have heard of some people cold crashing after dry hopping but some say you lose some desired hop resins. Any thoughts?
I have also never used gelatin before but have read about people using it for clarity as...
I found this fan that I think will work perfect. What do you recommend for the safest way to power this thing?

I think I may try this approach this time since in all of my past brews I have done it with the secondary. I am using pellets for the dryhop so will they do their job by dropping them in onto the top of the beer?
In the past when moving to secondary I would put the hops in first to try to...
I have heard a lot of back and forth between going to a secondary or not. My main concern is if I go to a secondary and my yeast is no longer active aren't I putting my beer into danger of infection with the amount of oxygen that will fill the rest of the carboy? The airlock will be on but...
Has anyone used and liked using this in their 5 gallon corny? It seems like a great product after reading the review below. I wonder if I could even go from primary straight to the keg and dry hop in there, using the keg for a secondary. All the sediment would pile to the bottom and I could...
Hi guys,
I am fairly new to brewing, have probably about 6 brews under my belt, but many questions about my current brew and possible new techniques.
Past brews:
After the brew, I would
1.) cold crash my wort with the copper wort chiller right after putting minute zero hops in
2.)...
