American IPA in the secondary for a few days. FG has not been reached and fermentation is very slow. I don't think it's an infection based upon going through 78 pages of some nasty pictures. Just want a second opinion.
I feel better - both in kegerator are tapped - the one in the basement is patiently waiting its' time for the limelight.
Thanks for the quick responses.
I figured I'd get a lot of "I'll help you with the low consumption issue you seem to be having!".
:tank:
Got a question,
Beer consumption has not matched production and I now have two full kegs in the kegerator and third one I kegged Sunday is not in cold storage (due to lack of space in kegerator or refrigerator). I do not do any priming sugar when I keg - CO2 is the carbonation conditioning...
:mug:Brewing 5 gal of Traveling Man's Pale Ale so it will be ready for Christmas. Have two other 5 gal batches (an IPA and a Brown Ale) in their second fermentation - one will be kegged this weekend and the second next weekend. This batch should be ready in 15 to 20 days. Guess I'll have to...
My son Jerry saved beer cans and forged me a tap handle for my kegerator! I am impressed and love it- had to share. Jerry, Danielle and Amanda (my kids) came up with the thought of a tap handle for my Christmas gift and this was the result.... They absolutely made a one-of-a-kind gift that I'll...
Got mine today and set it up (couldn't wait). It's new home is in the dining room!
:rockin: WOOHOOO :rockin:
One tap = Whitehouse Honey Porter - great taste
One tap = A Chablis Wine
Now I HAVE to plan on a couple of brew days - have a Holiday Ale (kit) that is next then maybe a Blue Moon...
Got it and it is all set up... One tap is the Whitehouse Honey Porter and the other is White Chablis
It will only hold two Kegs and is not difficult to set-up. I really like it and am ready to brew some more.
:ban:
It is the only two tapper listed on kegconnections.com (KR2200 on the invoice). I don't work for them nor do I get a kickback (but a free shirt would be cool) and to customize the Kegerator, you have to call Tony or Ben. I talked to both and they were both helpful.
BTW I don't know if it can...
I like the set and forget and will use that in the future. Had to rush the carbonation on this batch so we can enjoy on Thanksgiving. Thanks for the link too.

I've searched and cannot find the answer so here is the question. I have been carbonating my first keg for a few days at 25 PSI and 40 degrees. I believe it is about done now but don't know what the best method or best practice is to reduce the pressure so I don't over carbonate or the beer...
I can answer tomorrow - I ordered a two tap Kegerator with upgraded Perlick taps and a three gauge two tap regulator, 2 5 gal corneys and a 5 lb aluminum tank last Thursday and it all gets here TODAY (out for delivery). I bought a keg locally and a second C02 last Friday (I want at least 3 kegs...
Tried my first kegged beer - the Whitehouse Honey Porter.
Needs a little more carbonation but tastes GREAT :)
Was freaked out because I had read the posts about contamination and infections last night....:(
