    Thielman Kegs. How to connect?

Ok! I see... after some digging around, Thielmann is a company that makes Kegs. So they make, among other things, "Senke" kegs. The word "Thielmann" was prominently stamped into the keg. Sweet! I am ordering two couplers today! At $25 bucks each, it is not a burden.

    Thielman Kegs. How to connect?

So are these kegs called Sanke kegs? Sorry, I only know about the ball lock soda kegs I have now.

    Thielman Kegs. How to connect?

Hi all, I was given a couple of what I think are called "Thielmann" kegs by a friend. It has a connection method I have never seen before. I have done a bit of research on the googlewebs and I think it might be called an "S coupler". By the way, these used to hold Heineken beer if that helps...

    Amarillo Pale Ale

Lol. What I meant was, your hop additions read like a NEIPA recipe. In my head it made sense. Hahaha.

Run two 120v elements off of 240v?

Well here is where I've ended up. I've got a dedicated water line for my filter and my Counter flow Chiller, I got a small digital thermometer attached to the wort outflow of the chiller to help adjust (flow) chilling temp and of course my element controller. The sink will be replace with a...

    Amarillo Pale Ale

I didn't invent this... But I've been tweaking it to suit my pallet. This is just a really nice drinkable (quaffable!!) beer. For me, it's a "beer drinkers beer." For the yeast, I usually use US-05, but I have also used WLP001. Of course, don't follow my acid or salt additions as your water...

Hop question, combine all grain + DME wort

Oh ok. Yes, I suppose another week or so is better than just dumping it now.

Hop question, combine all grain + DME wort

well ok. So here is the final result in case anybody was following. So the beer has been in my Keezer since primary fermentation was done. basically 3 weeks. It does have an "odd" flavour. Not horrible... but not good. I have opted to dump it. So I am going to add this to the...

Run two 120v elements off of 240v?

Also, I just checked, the element controller I currently have IS rated for 240 volt! So I could get one nice wavy 240V element and control it with my controller. Not only that, if I just use one 240v element, I don't need to worry about screwing around with splitting a 240v supply to run two...

Run two 120v elements off of 240v?

Shoot! That would have been nice.. except the holes in my kettle are 1 inch. I suppose I could just do some thing like this: https://www.hopgoblin.com/1-NPT-to-1-2-NPT-Bushing-Stainless-Steel-p/be64124.htm The nut and O-ring seal on my current element will fit that. and then and then...
