    Founders All Day IPA

Simcoe is short and in high demand I hear. May have subbed for something more plentiful or cost effective for them.

    Founders All Day IPA

Out of respect to AHS, I won't post the detailed amounts, and even if this isn't exact, it's a damn good beer out of the tap tonight. Here's the link, buy it one time and the recipe is yours. I think I'm going to add some grain next time to boost the ABV but see if I can maintain the...

    Founders All Day IPA

I don't know the legalities of posting their exact recipe, but I will post: 2 Row, Crystal 20, Red Wheat, Flaked Oats and Maize, Rye Malt Simcoe, Amarillo in the boil Simcoe, Amarillo, Crystal in the dry hop

    Founders All Day IPA

I ordered the Austin Homebrew Clone version of this today. Curious to see what they have included in their recipe.

Messed up with gypsum - any fix before dump???

I made the White House Honey Ale from an all-grain kit from AHS. First time to deal with gypsum, and stupid me just assumed the bag was premeasured. As soon as I threw it in the boil, I realized my mistake. Anyway, it's in the keg now and of course has that nasty mineral well water type...

    Rogue Maple Bacon ale

Working on a bottle now. Wish I had 10 friends to help. I'm alone and at $15.99 I'm drinking every dang drop regardless.

    American IPA Fresh Squeezed IPA

Poured my first glass today. Still needs to carb a little longer, but this is good stuff. Could be the recipe. Could be the fact that I swamp coolered it to keep fermentation cool this time. Could be the fact it was my first all grain. But it sure is tasty.

Those of you without trucks: How to get those Craigslist finds home?

In Arkansas as a male you are pretty much required to own a truck. If not, the other 80% of the population does.

    Refill keg without cleaning

It's a refill of the exact same recipe, so flavor is not an issue.

    Refill keg without cleaning

Just curiously as my wife will only drink raspberry cider. I have one keg about to empty right when another batch will finish. Is this the one time I could not have to go through the keg cleaning hassle? Just one time I could put the new batch right in and hook it back up to the gas to carb...

My APA tastes like a Belgian Pale Ale

I'm no expert, but I was asking the same thing a few weeks ago. I think my fermentation happened too hot/too fast. Slowed my next batch down with the swamp cooler technique. Not finished yet, but I measured and sampled before dry hop and things seem better.

    Doublewide IPA

Side by side tonight. Not even close. The homebrew is much darker and is much more pronounced on the hops. Still very very drinkable.

    American IPA Fresh Squeezed IPA

    It was all-grain.

    American IPA Fresh Squeezed IPA

First time to brew all-grain for me. Also first time using BeerSmith. So I was all upset that I was so far off on my numbers - BeerSmith said this would be 1.091 but I ended up only at 1.073. Then I look here and it said 1.070 so I guess maybe I don't know how to work the program yet...

    Doublewide IPA

Oops. Typo. Meant to say Cascade, I just edited up there. No Chinook used. Color is pretty much spot on from what I could remember. It is darker for sure. I'll report back after the side by side with pics.
