    Bravo hops

    any more bravo updates? bravo dryhopping seems questionable, but decent flavor? i brewed an all bravo pale ale yesterday, 1st time using the hop. hops smelled a little oniony, earthy, and citrusy at 15AA pound of rye and crystal 50, 6# LME. 60 .5oz 15 .5oz 5. 1oz

    115th hop bursted IPA

    does anyone know what hops are in the hop blend? i think i read it's 4 hops and the additions are .75 oz each, so 3 oz at each addition. would dryhopping give this a longer peak window?

    Kegging System Start Up

    i just got midwests dual regulator 2 keg system for about $200 and a fridge for the garage off craigslist for $80. I will eventually add another keg and faucets. it's been great so far! saves lots of time.

    help save tart pale ale for party

    i also threw 1.5 oz in my keg on thursday b/c the slight off lemony tart twang did not completely disappear and my party was approaching. half chinook and half saaz. the beer just 2 days later was much more well rounded. we'll see how people like it at today's bbq. glad i dry hopped too!!!

    possibly not fully conditioned yet? i have a pale ale in the keg for a party next weekend as well and last weekend it was a little tart almost lemony, just seemed to be an off-flavor finish; the sour / tartness is fading. it's also been brewed about 5 weeks ago w/ chinook at 60 and 15 w/...

    i'm not sure where all this info about short primaries is coming from in this thread. at least three weeks is great for primary. extract can make as good beer as all grain.

    I'm about to brew a single hop partial mash IPA this weekend. I'd like to have a good recipe as I hope to make a few other single hops w/ the same recipe. I can PM up to 4# of malt and would like to have an OG of around 1.6 and IBU about 50. Currently, I have 6# LME, 5# vienna, and 1# crystal...

    i always thought dale's pale ale from oskar blues really pushed the pale ale enevelope.... at 6.5% and 65 ibus.

    getting a little tang here

    that just perfectly answered my question regarding the slight cardboard taste in my pale ale that's only been in the bottle 2 weeks. i was going through all sorts of factors in my head (with new house and system used) but will chill out for a few more weeks.
