    Quick question about priming sugar

Gotchya, thanks for the reply - I'm a bit hazy on what the volumes correlates to. I used a calculator that said 6 ounces of corn sugar/dextrose is recommended for a 6gal batch. Does that sound right? (the recipe is here: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f70/lemon-lime-hefe-weizen-255659/)

    Quick question about priming sugar

I'm bottling soon for this recipe: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f70/lemon-lime-hefe-weizen-255659/index159.html - and wanted to know if I need priming sugar when going to bottle. I bottle this 2 days from now and realized the recipe did not say anything about priming sugar (is this because...

    Fruit Beer Lemon-Lime Hefe Weizen

To second @areilly - do we need to add priming sugar (since there's already a ton of sugar from the limeade)?

    Quick question about mash times

Hi, I'm planning to brew tonight and I'm doing this recipe: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f70/lemon-lime-hefe-weizen-255659/ I'm a little confused about the mash times - hoping someone can clear it up for me. It says: ****Mash 158 for 45 minutes**** 0.25 Motueka Hops at 60 Minutes 0.25...

Quick question about the mash: Is it: 45 mins with the grain/extract Then 60 more mins adding hops?

What's the life-span of an ingredient kit?

A friend gave me a Brewer's Best ingredient kit for an IPA that she's had sitting around for about 4 or 5 months (unopened). Apparently they've just been sitting around at room temperature so I'm not sure if anything is dried out/expired.

Is this normal? Not sure if this is too much sediment

Thank you for the reassurance mates! I had a bottle in the fridge with this much sediment - just did exactly as you said; slow pour. WOW! Came out really tasty :) And the color looks great too.

Is this normal? Not sure if this is too much sediment

Sorry for another "did I mess up" type of post >.< Here is the subject in question: (also attached) It's already done carbonating (3 weeks now in bottle). I know sediment is normal but is this too much or does this look like something else? It's a wheat beer with a fruit puree.
