I just stumbled upon this post and it seems to be what I've been looking for. I do smaller batches, 2.5G and 1.75G. The formula assumes 5G so how does smaller volume affect the final CO2 volume? Or does it at all?
I'm very happy with my Foundry 6.5 and I've brewed dozens of recipes since early 2020. 120V is fine for 6.5 model. I have been hoping for an improved model with more features and better hardware but I would have to move up to 10.5 and that's too much for my brewing needs.
Since you're in Canada you obviously have a way to keep fermentation temperature high enough. I have a wine cooler for my 2.5 gallon keg with an aquarium heating pad wrapped around it. The temperature is controlled with an Ink Bird. What are you using?
