    I started with 6.5 gallons of water and ended up with a little less than 5.5 gallons of product. This gave me about 5 gallons of beer to bottle. I leave the stuff in the bottom of the fermenter out of the final bottling product.

    WOW! That's a long time to wait! I'm going to wait another 3 weeks or so and try again. I hope it starts to show some signs of life. I've got it stored at 70 degrees right now. I didn't calculate the alcohol yet but I think it was 1.087 then the final reading was 1.013.

    I used DME and the WLP500. It's bubbling, foaming, and looking good after 24 hours! I think I'll start my brew tomorrow pitch it tomorrow evening with 48 hours in. Thanks for your help!
