Did this for the first time All Grain.
Used three vanilla beans and 10oz of Makers Mark. Also used 1# of Chocolate.
Mashed at 150 on the dot.
Great beer. Will continue to do this beer annually.
Thanks. I wasn't going to dry hop this one but probably will to try and counter the malt. The % is high so it has the back bone for some more hop as well.

How did this turn out? I did the same thing while making my recipe on the fly at the store. I used a # of 40L so it's fairly close to your recipe with Citra and Amarillo.

I steeped a # of coarse ground light roasted coffee post boil at 170 for 20 minutes. Coffee flavor came through nicely but if you had more than two you were going to have trouble sleeping.
I went really light on the hops because I was afraid of the bitterness of the coffee but it ended up not...
Coy, doubt it has anything to do with your recipe.
I do an extract with specialty grains on this one with 3 Tahitian Beans and while it took an extra week for the carbonation to come in (bottle conditioned) it still was present.
