    Whiskey Help

I do 10 oz per 5 gallons and it has a nice hint of bourbon without overpowering the rest of the flavors.

Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer Bourbon Vanilla Porter (AG)

Did this for the first time All Grain. Used three vanilla beans and 10oz of Makers Mark. Also used 1# of Chocolate. Mashed at 150 on the dot. Great beer. Will continue to do this beer annually.

Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer Bourbon Vanilla Porter (AG)

The vanilla will mellow with age. Must have been strong beans. I usually do three beans for two weeks.

Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer Bourbon Vanilla Porter (AG)

Coy, doubt it has anything to do with your recipe. I do an extract with specialty grains on this one with 3 Tahitian Beans and while it took an extra week for the carbonation to come in (bottle conditioned) it still was present. Seems like a kegging issue though my first experiencing kegging a...

Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer Bourbon Vanilla Porter (AG)

You probably bottled already but I used 10 oz and it came out very well balanced.
