Thanks for the suggestions I spoke to the head of the household (wife) and she pretty much told me there was a snowball's chance in hell that i was going to be brewing with NG in the basement... on to the electric side of things... I am taking it I am going to need a dedicated load center just...
I am getting my heater replaced in my basement (Natural Gas) and I want to add a line off of it so this winter as there is 100 inches of snow on the ground and the temperature drops to -40 I can still brew beer.
Any suggestions on how to build out something?
Thanks!
I have a wheat and a big heavy stout in secondary fermentation right now which both are to be bottled on Sunday while I am brewing another batch... the question I have is are there enough yeast in the bottom of the barrel to ferment a beer on Sunday? I was thinking of doing an amber ale.
Thanks...
Just Finished this sucker changed the molasses for sugar in the raw 1c and doubled the hops. Hopefully not too sweet with the change to sugar but will let everyone know how it does.
Hi new to the forum and relatively new to brewing... I was wondering if I can get away with using a 10 foot Stainless Steel Braid in my Mashtun as opposed to a smaller one?
I read somewhere the bigger the better... how true is this and can you actually get too big?
Thanks
Luke
