I used the dried orange zest from AHB. Forgot to get the ETOH boost!!!! Dang it!

Finish brewing my Hoegaarden White last night and its in the primary now. 1/2 lb aromatic malt 1/2 lb flaked wheat 1/4 lb flaked oates 7 lb wheat extract 1oz kent golding 1 oz saaz orange and corriendar at 15 and 5 mins yeast fuel the last 10 mins belgian wit ale 400 OG = 1.054...

Well, Im transfering to the 2nd for a few more days. Its been in the primary for 11 days and here are the specs: FG = 1.014 For a 12 glass: 6.7% ABV 210.5 calories 20.4 grams of carbs Smells and looks like beer....so I am hopeful!

Bleach is the cure....it will kill anything. Just be sure to wash, wash, wash after the bleach attack.

Tried it for the first time today. 9% and has white muscat grapes and saffron in it. Overall.....VERY nice strong brew. I wonder what the OG would be to get a 9% result with such a light, clean finish? This brewery hasnt disappointed me yet.

Also, noticed that this thing is still popping in the airlock after 6 days. Should be interesting. I wanted to keep it really simple since this was my first GF attempt.

DFH 120 is the best beer in America...IMHO. If you cant take the hops, get out of the kitchen!
