Just a quick question about the mr beer bottling process.
I don't know a whole lot about brewing so bare with me. Once the beer ferments in the fermentor for a few weeks, when I transfer it to the bottles is that considered the secondary fermentor or if that is even needed for the standard mr...

Would you suggest getting a scale or using measuring like tea spoons and table spoons. I am asking because I am pretty serious about making this a lifelong hobby and I would not mind investing in a scale if it will pay off in the long run.

I am using liter bottles and it tells me to use 2 1/2 tps.
When I said that I was mainly concerned about any chemicals that may be in the white sugar.

I am onto the bottling stage and the instructions suggest granulated white sugar but I'd rather not use white sugars because I don't trust it. I was thinking about using brown sugar or honey and I was wondering if the measurements stay the same when using a different sugar than white sugar.
