For the sake of this conversation, lets just say I will not use my dispensing kegs.. so if any one wants them cheap.. let me know.. I have six..
So I racked into a racking vessel.. added sugar and used a filling cane to fill bottles.. now each of them has a little sediment in the bottom...
I have had mine going for a little over 2 weeks.. had 2 sent out.. and reordered my two.. my suggestion would be to check and see if your next order is in stock.... one of mine was not.. and that held up my shipment.
Has anyone gotten a firm date on when this is suppose to start..
I know people have read dates and all that.. but I am beginning to think I want to withdraw my pledge...

I plan to stay to a steady 4 packs a month.. I figure 2 every two weeks... at least for the start.. the same night that I brew the second pack.. I will be ordering the next two... that is why I back for the year...
Its not going to be Customer Choice the whole time??? It damn well better be... I do not like IPA's and I will not have them send them to me.. I plan on brewing all the others... That was NOT specified in the Kick Starter.
Hey Gang...
I have a gallon of Pear Mead...... cleared very nicely.. I put it to bed.. for the last couple of weeks..
Looked at it today...
and down at the bottom.. I have what looks like wisps of something.....
See the attached picture..
Is this Pectin haze???

I could not agree more with the uselessness of the serving keg.. I will rack to a container and wand it into bottles...
Along the same lines.. I have been looking at the Pico site.. it shows you can order your own Paks... but the creation interface is somewhat lacking in detail.. or is it...
Not sure where my thread went...
So my lodge chipped in and we bought... we plan on brewing batches and bottling them...
I do not like the serving keg.. it under performs...
So the question I have.. is can you rack over to the serving keg.. .add the bottling sugar... then auto siphon...
My lodge bought a Pico... and we are not satisfied with the dispensing keg.. can we add sugar to the fermented wort then use a bottling wand to fill bottles??
Anyone have thoughts??
Thanks,
Kody
